Arista Graduate Program Labs¶
This series of workshops aims to provide SE and AS engineers with the extended knowledge to position and apply CloudVision Portal in customer settings by:
- Exploring use cases and deployment options
- Examining the available extensibility options
- Reviewing third party integrations and extensions
- Providing insight into DevOps automation workflow integration.
There are currently five labs for these workshops. Three are here, and the remaining two are hosted in a different section, but can be accessed with the links below.
-
CloudVision Initial Configuration
This lab will walk you through the initial configuration of a CloudVision deployment.
-
CloudVision Portal Upgrade
This lab will walk you through upgrading a CloudVision deployment.
-
CloudVision Custom Events
This lab walks through creating custom events in CloudVision based off of EOS syslog entries.
-
Event API
In this lab we will be creating custom log events on one of our virtual switches, then using the Event API link on our lab landing screen to view them. This demonstrates how simple it is to create a new Event rule in CVP to forward alerts to a webhook or other receiver.
-
CloudVision Studios - L3LS/EVPN
In this lab, we will deploy a modern data center network using several built-in Studios, including the L3 Leaf-Spine Fabric studio.
